Wendy Jo Wearly, 74, of Lake Placid, FL went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning July 8, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring.  Wendy was born on October 21, 1950, in Muncie, Indiana and she was the daughter to Ileeda (Reed) and Ralph Nusbaum.  She and her husband Sam made their home here in Lake Placid in 2016, moving here from Tennessee.  Wendy was a member of the national women's fraternity "Alpha Chi Omega Sorority".  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved to be with her family.  Wendy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Sam, daughters; Alison Gladney (John), Michelle Cowdrey (Steve), six grandchildren; Haley, Alyssa, McKenna, Garrett, Wyatt, Mackenzie and her brother; Terry Nusbaum.
