Wallace Raymond Manness Sr., 70, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his residence.  Wallace was born on June 19, 1955, in Trenton, New Jersey.  He was the son of Shirley (Muhn) and Wallace Roland Mannass.  Wallace has been a resident of Florida for many years, moving from New Jersey to Orlando, Kissimmee, Sebring and for the past twelve years here in Lake Placid.  He was a retired quality control analyst with Advance Drainage System(ADS).  Wallace was of the Baptist Faith.  He enjoyed a good game of darts, fishing in the local lakes, hunting, going to car shows and building models.  Wallace loved to be with his family and friends whenever they could get together, especially when he spent time with his grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother John.  Wallace is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Sharon, daughter, Chelsea Manness (Darrell), sons, Wallace Raymond Jr. (Sherry), Joshua, three grandchildren, Waylon, Weston and Rylin Helton, sister, Cheryl Teyssier and a brother Kenneth Manness.  In keeping with Wallace's wishes the family will celebrate his life in private.
