Virginia E. Mulhollen, 83, went to be with her Lord Wednesday afternoon October 26, 2011 at the Lake Placid Health Care Center. She was born on August 11, 1928 in Johnstown, PA to patents Charles and Sylvia (Peden) Dodd. She moved to Lake Placid 17 years ago from Pompano Beach, FL after retiring as an art teacher. She enjoyed teaching and showing her art to others for them to enjoy. Ms. Mulhollen loved spending time with family, friends and her pet. Ms. Mulhollen was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her loving children; Lynn Acker and Drew Mulhollen, 4 grandchildren; Jessica, Walter and Kenneth Riker and Drew John Mulhollen, and a sister; Beverly Peacock. A service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday (today) October 29, 2011 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Fred Ball celebrating.
