Todd Wayne Griffith, 85, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Wednesday morning November 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born on March 17, 1928 in Johnstown, PA to parents Merle (Toner) and Mark Boyd Griffith. A retired Executive in the coal industry, Mr. Griffith moved to Lake Placid from Ft. Lauderdale 13 years ago. Mr. Griffith enjoyed football, golf and surfing the cable channels and loved spending time with family and friends. Mr. Griffith was a member of the Community Church of God in Lake Placid. He is survived by his loving children, Debbie Sweeting, Cindy Decker, Calvin Griffith and Wayne Griffith; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Deannie Clytes. A service to celebrate Mr. Griffith's life will be held 4:00 PM Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Community Church of God 735 S. Sun 'N Lakes Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Joseph DeHart officiating.
