Thelma Louise Pollard Henderson entered Heaven on July 20, 2025, in Zephyrhills, Florida, at the age of 79. Thelma is survived by her children, Tanya (Slade) and Erica (Duke); grandchildren, Cody (Sydny), Von, Emma (Josh), and Neecole; great grandchildren, Cooper, Sawyer, Riley, and Lawton; and siblings, Gene (Carol), Raymond (Kim), and Frankie (Byron). She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Myrtle McKinnie Pollard, and her brother, Jerry.

Thelma was born on September 28, 1945, in Sebring, Florida. She was a devout woman of faith who loved God with all her heart. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ in church, leading Sunday School, and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she knew.

Thelma graduated from Lake Placid High School and went on to attend Lee College. She had a long career in the banking industry and as a travel coordinator at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. But her favorite role was being a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her kind and gentle nature and loved by all who knew her.

Two celebrations of life will be held in Thelma's honor: August 1, 2025, at Placid Temple Church of God in Lake Placid, Florida, with a 5 p.m. visitation and a 6 p.m. service, and on August 2, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at New Walk Church in Zephyrhills, Florida.

The family asks for donations to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Compass Rose of Zephyrhills resident activity fund in lieu of flowers.
