Terry G. Hardy, 69, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning, January 12, 2016. He was the son of Eileen Hicks and Gordon Hardy born on May 24, 1946 in London, Ontario, Canada. He served his country with honor in Vietnam serving in the US Army. Terry was a retired plumber, moving to Lake Placid last May from West Palm Beach, FL. Terry was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed anything to do with racing, fishing, being outdoors and loved to be with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rosemary; son, Brian Hardy; 5 grandchildren and sister, Tammy. A gathering to celebrate Terry's life will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with family and friends celebrating. A visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service time.
