Tara Lynne Rogers, 53, of Lake Placid, Florida passed away on June 30, 2024. Tara was born in Munich, Germany on January 29th, 1971 to Darrell Hansen and Venita "Marie" (O'Shields) Hansen, both of whom predeceased her. Being an Army Brat, she was blessed with the opportunity to grow up overseas, getting to see Germany, Belgium, France, Japan, Holland, and so much more. Tara has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1991. Tara was a self-proclaimed workaholic. She worked at Florida Non-Profit Housing Inc. for over 30 years and loved her job. She also volunteered a lot of her time with Sebring Youth Sports and worked with different parts of the community throughout her life. Anyone who knew her knew that her children were her entire world – she even called them her heartbeats. She is survived by her girls Mikala Armioia, 28, Skylar Armioia, 23, and Mackenzee Rogers, 19. She was one of five children and is survived by her siblings Dale (Karen) Hansen, of Barstow, CA, Jana (Dale) Easton, of Davenport, FL, Ryan (Jennifer) Hansen, of Sarasota, FL, and Cory (Nicole) Hansen, of Lake Placid, FL. Another huge part of her life was her nieces and nephews, Jordan, Taylor, Tracie, Lexa, Robbie, Zain, Madisyn, Darrell, Rylynn, Jalynn, and Mavryck, all of which will miss her more than words can say. Services for Tara will be held on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at Scott's Funeral Home at 504 Interlake Blvd, Lake Placid, Florida. The family will be accepting visitors from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a service to follow. There will be a gathering afterwards at 1341 Lake Clay Drive in Lake Placid to share memories and stories of Tara.
