Sixta A. Noboa, 83, of Lake Placid, Florida, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Bedrock at Southern Lifestyles in Lake Placid.

Sixta was born on August 27, 1942, in the Dominican Republic, the beloved daughter of Mercedes and Eduardo Gonzalez. She had been a resident of Lake Placid for the past three and a half years, having previously lived in Naples and, before that, Miami.

She retired after a distinguished career as a Human Resources Specialist with the Dow Chemical Latin America Division. Sixta was a lifelong and avid fan of her favorite baseball team, the Miami Marlins! Sixta found her greatest joy in spending time with family and friends. She especially cherished moments with her grandchildren.

Sixta is survived by her loving sons, Juan Franco and Gustavo Noboa; her seven grandchildren, Sabrina Franco-Gonzalez, Zachary Franco, Tatyana Franco, Alicia Noboa, Egypt Noboa, Pharaoh Noboa, and Nunu Noboa; her great-granddaughter, Amelia A. Gonzalez, and her sister, Mercedes Gonzalez.
