Shirley Ann McGee, 77, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring.  Shirley was born on July 8, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky and was the daughter of Thelma (Houghlin) and William T. Hibdon.  Shirley has been a resident of the Lake Placid area for the past thirty years, moving here from Louisville, Kentucky, where she retired with the Louisville Water Company after many years of service.  She was a member of the South Oak First Baptist Church of Lake Placid.  Shirley enjoyed being with family and friends anytime they could get together.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry McGee, and she is survived by her sister; Terri Crutcher, brothers; Tommy and Larry Hibdon.  Services to celebrate Shirley's life will be private for the family.
