Scott Groff, 56, of Sebring went to be with his Lord on Friday evening March 31, 2017 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring. Scott was the son of Charles and Mary (Green) Groff, and was born in Braintree, England on May 9, 1960. Scott went to work after graduating from high school as an aircraft mechanic with Batch Air in Miami. Scott has been a resident of Highlands County for the past 14 years moving here from Ft. Lauderdale. Scott would spend many hours woodworking making picture frames. Scott was an avid sports fan who enjoyed all outdoor activities including fishing. Scott loved to spend time with his family and friends. Scott is preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his loving sisters, Jacquelene Groff, Helen Fletcher, Tina Groff and Kathleen Hannah (David) brothers, Charles and Michael Groff (Pattie); several nieces and nephews. It was Scott wishes to have a private service to celebrate his life with his family. Arrangements entrusted with the Scott Funeral Home.
