Ruth W. Reynolds, 81, of Lake Placid, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning November 26, 2013 at her residence. She was born on February 8, 1932 in Naugatuck, Connecticut to parents Ruth (Weaving) and William Wood. A retired bookkeeper Mrs. Reynolds moved to Ft. Lauderdale from Connecticut and then moved to Lake Placid 20 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks, Women of the Moose, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Reynolds loved spending time with her family and friends. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 49 years John; daughter, Cydney Webster; son, Damon Reynolds; step-daughters, Edith, Joyce and Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a brother, William Wood. An inurnment service to celebrate Mrs. Reynolds life will be held next spring in Connecticut.
