Ruth Evelyn Cudzik, 83, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning June 2 9, 2022 at Orchid Cove at Lake Placid. Ruth was born on March 5, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. Ruth was a retired school teacher with the Chicago Public School System. After her retirement, Ruth moved to Fort Myers Beach and then to Lake Placid. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Ruth en joyed traveling with her partner Dennis, trying new food and donating to different charities. She loved to be with family and friends. She is survived by her two sons; David and Mic hael Cudzik, several grandchildren and extended family members. After her retirement she was best know for looking out others and taking care of her family, friends and neighbors . A farewell service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held at a later date.
