Ruby Inez Baker, 90, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord Saturday November 26, 2011. She was born on September 25, 1921 in Puryear, TN to parents Jame and Vallie (Simpson) Allen. She moved to Florida in 1952 and was an accounting assistant with Montgomery Ward Department Store, then moving to Lake Placid form North Miami Beach in 1989. Mrs. Baker received her pilot's license before her driver's license. She loved spending time with her family and friends, enjoyed camping and traveling and was of the Baptist faith belonging to the Women's Missionary Union (WMU). Mrs. Baker was a loving wife and mother and is survived by daughters; Carol Cain, Nancy Smith and Julia Cain, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and is preceded in death by her husband and sons; John, Donald and Paul Cain.
