Ronald Andrew Sliwoski, 75, of Lake Placid, FL went home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 4, 2026, at his residence. Ronald was born on January 20, 1951, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and he was the son of Stella (Jankowski) and Henry Sliwoski. Ronald has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past five years, moving here from Cape Canaveral. Ronald graduated from St. Thomas University Houston, Texas class of 1973 with a bachelor’s of science degree. He then went to work with Standard Oil Company. He was a retired construction estimator that allowed him to travel to many parts of the world including 20 countries. Ronald was of the Catholic faith and a 34-year member of AA. He enjoyed traveling the country in his motorhome, spending time in his workshop, woodworking making many different things. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Robin, daughters, Brianna and Katherine and his son Andrew. In keeping with Ronald’s wishes, the family will celebrate his life in private.
