Ronald G. Powrozek, 76, of Lake Placid passed away on Thursday night February 27, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.   Ronald was born on June 28, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Anna (Pudelek) and Frank Powrozek.  Ronald has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past 10 years moving from the Acreage in West Palm Beach where he retired as an owner of a manufacturing and packaging plant.  He enjoyed being out on the local lakes in his boat fishing.  He loved spending time with his family and friends anytime they could get together, especially with his grandchildren.  Ronald is survived by his loving wife; Sharon of 55 years, daughter; Kimberly Hoyt (Brian), son; Jeff Powrozek (Stacy), and his four grandchildren, Danielle, Rachel, Ian and Alex.  In keeping with Ronald's wishes, services to celebrate his life were private for the family.  Words of comfort to the family can be made by visiting www.scottfuneralservices.com .
