Ronald Bruce Kline, 79, died on April 20, 2024.  He was born on August 23, 1944, to Robert and Ruth Kline in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  He graduated from North Port High School in North Port Long Island, New York.  He spent his career in the retail industry. He was a member of the Charlotte Centennial Band where he played the trombone. He also was a member of the Charlotte Players where he enjoyed participating in several productions.  He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where he served on various committees and sang in the chancel choir.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Kline; three sons: Ronald (Deborah) Kline, Stephen (Diane) Kline, and Jason (Jacquie) Kline; six grandchildren: Sascha, Serena, Joshua, Jackson, Jefferson, and Owen; his brother Robert (Carolyn) Kline; his sister Carol (Thomas) Civitella; two nephews: Andrew Kline and Timothy Civitella; and two nieces: Suzanne Kline-Katz and Cynthia Romano. The family wishes to thank Valerie Kline for the compassionate care she gave Ron during this past year.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Charlotte on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10:00 am.  All are invited.
