Roberto S. Celaya, 74, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the AdventHealth Hospital Lake Placid. Roberto was born on January 20, 1951, in Havana, Cuba and he was the son of Lolly (Hance) and Roberto M. Celaya. Roberto has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1988, moving here from Mexico. He was a retired architect in the building and construction industry. He was of the Catholic faith who enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, cooking for his family and friends. Roberto is survived by his loving sisters; Elena Celaya, Yolanda Celaya, his brother; Luis F. Celaya, many nieces and nephews.
