Robert Lee Roberts, 83, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Friday morning September 2, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring, FL. Robert was born on September 6, 1938 in Lockport, New York and was the son of Gladys Eileen (Currie) and Clay Grant Roberts. Robert served his country with honors in the United States Navy. For over 30 years , Robert was an owner of a n electronic dis tribution business in San Diego. After retiring he moved to Lake Placid eight years ago from Virginia. Robert was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed gardening around his house and following Go nzaga Unive rsity basketball . He loved being with family and friends anytime they could get together especially time with his grandchildren : Hayden, Shane & Jack . Robert is survived by the love of his life of 60 years, Judith, sons: Clay (M J ) and Andrew "Andy" (Kimberly) Roberts, thr ee grandchildren and a brother; Peter J. (Donna) Roberts. In keeping with Robert's wishes the family will celebrate his life in private.
