Robert Elwood Nall, 85, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Sunday evening February 9, 2014 at the Lake Placid Health Care Center. He was born on October 20, 1928 in Stockton, Kansas to parents Evelyn (Campbell) and Max Nall. Robert served his country proudly in the US Navy during WWII as a photographer. After serving in the Navy, Robert became a store manager with a supermarket chain, and later operated his own business selling beverages. He moved to the area 30 years ago from Ohio where he was an avid Cleveland Browns fan having season tickets for many years. Robert enjoyed his football, woodworking, gardening and fishing and loved spending time with both family and friends. A member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies both of Ohio and the First Presbyterian Church Lake Placid. Mr. Nall is survived by his loving wife of 64 ½ years June; children, Robert, Lawrence, Terence, Nancy, Christian, and Kaitlyn; many grand and great-grand children. A private service for the family was held.
