Robert A. "Bob" Miller went to be with his Lord on November 1st, 2009. Bob was born October 15, 1933 in Tampa to Charles and Myrle Miller. Leaving his loving wife of 55 years Bobbie, they have sons David, wife Kim, Gainesville, Daniel wife Patti, Sebring and Richard wife Lisa from Clewiston, eight wonderful grandchildren; Julia, Andrew, Drew, Brooke, Joshua, Kayla, Robert and Emily also leaving a sister Carol Green. Bob was preceded in death by his brother Charles. Bob was an Army veteran and was employed by US Sugar Corp. for 30 years and Vice President Engineering his last 10 years. Always active in his church serving as a Deacon for over 40 years at Baptist churches at Clewiston and at Lake Placid. Bob loved golf and was a member at Placid Lakes Country Club where he was twice Club Champion. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening (today) from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd... Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday November 4th, 2009 as Faith Baptist Church 660 Holmes Avenue Lake Placid with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. Graveside services will be held later that day at Ridge Lawn Cemetery in Clewiston at 3 PM.
