Robert Lemuel Taylor, "Skeeter" 62, of Sebring passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at his residence.  Robert was the son of Dorothy Mackenstatt and Benjamin Taylor. He was born on December 7, 1956 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.  Robert was a carpenter by trade working in the construction industry. His work took him to several places, including Washington and Orlando.  Robert has been a resident of Highlands County for the past 36 years. Robert enjoyed being with his friends and playing horseshoes. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; William L., and Timothy.  He is survived by his daughter; Jessica, sister; Judith Taylor, brothers; James M., Benjamin J., John T., Toby, and JJ. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the residence.
