Robert J. LeFiles Jr, 88, of Sebring went home to be with his Lord on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center. Robert was born on January 29, 1938, in Valdosta, Georgia. He was the son of Clyde L. (Senterfit) and Robert J. LeFiles Sr. Robert has been a long-time resident of Sebring, moving here from Jupiter. He was a graduate of Coral Gables Sr. High School and the University of Miami School of Engineering where he earned his electrical engineering degree. He worked as an electrical engineer with Florida Power and Light until his retirement. Robert was an active member of the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, NRA and his college fraternity. Robert enjoyed training &riding horses, woodworking, furniture making, teaching gun safety as a range instructor. He loved to be with his family and friends. Robert is survived by his loving wife Patricia, children; Annlynn, Denise, Robert J |||., grandchildren; Haley, Alan, Kyle, , Allysa and multiple step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his grandson Trevor. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held time and date TBA at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church 820 Hickory Street Sebring, FL with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating.
