Robert Keith Simpson, 56, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Advent Health Sebring. Keith was born on May 29, 1963 in Avon Park, FL and was the son of Betty (Burnsed) and Tilton Simpson.  Keith was a graduate of Lake Placid Sr. High class of 1981. Keith had a passion for working with computers and became an IT specialist and network administrator at the Avon Park Bombing Range. He enjoyed working on computers, a great round of golf, being outdoors hunting and fishing and watching old movies especially the three stooges.  Keith loved life and was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his loving father Buddy Simpson and his brother Michael Simpson. Keith is survived by his loving son Brian, mother; Betty Simpson, sisters; Lisa Cabalo (Roy) and Patricia Miller, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A gathering for family and friends to reflect on Keith's life will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Scott Funeral Home 504. W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid.
