Robert W. Fralix, 68, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Thursday afternoon June 4, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family.

One of 12 children, Robert was born on October 7, 1946 in Pulaski, TN to parents Sally Rose and Odell Fralix. Robert was a longtime resident of Okeechobee and moved to Lake Placid in 2008. He was a retired heavy equipment operator in the agriculture industry.

Robert was a people person who could strike up a conversation with anyone and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed being around tractors, especially antique ones, and listening to country music. Robert loved to spend time with both his family and friends. He was member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine in Sebring.

Mr. Fralix is preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Renee Fralix and brother, Charles Fralix. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Elaine; daughters, Robyn Cook (Robert) and April Craig (Nick); four grandchildren, Naomi Cook, Zane Cook, Elizabeth Craig and Sarah Craig; and four sisters and six brothers.

A funeral service to celebrate Mr. Fralix's life will be held 11 a.m. Friday June 12, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine, 111 Lake Josephine Drive, Sebring, with Dr. Kevin Ahrens officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time. The family is requesting a donation to your local hospice or the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
