Robert D. Baldwin "Dale" 81, of Lake Placid, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning February 28, 2012 at the Florida Hospital Lake Placid. He was born on March 4, 1930 in Rochester, NY to parents Robert and Olive (Elmslie) Baldwin. He served his country in the US Army. Dale, a long time resident of Key Largo for 27 years was member and past president of the Rotary Club of Key Largo. He and his wife moved to Lake Placid 10 years ago from Key Largo and started the Dale R. Baldwin and Assoc. Landscape Architects in 1965 in Winter Park, Florida. Mr. Baldwin was a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and was of the Christian Faith. Dale enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved sharing his time with family and friends. Mr. Baldwin is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Joyce, daughters; Lisa Frins (Jay) and Debbie Perry (Jerry), son; Carl Baldwin, 5 grandchildren; Sabrina, Tiffany and Dale Parry, Trevor and Devin Frins, 2 great grandchildren Mannix and Kylee Perry. A visitation for family and friends will be 10:00 AM till 11: 00 AM Friday March 2, 2012 with funeral services to celebrate Mr. Baldwin's life starting at 11:00 AM at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Harold Ross celebrating celebrating. Burial will follow at the Lake Worth Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to The American Heart association.
