Ricky Lee Shuee, 60, of Lake Placid, passed away Tuesday morning September 11, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Shuee was born on December 7, 1951 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to parents Irene (Boller) and James Shuee. Mr. Shuee was a retired veteran serving country during Vietnam as a combat engineer with the US Army. He moved to Highlands County 17 years ago from Boswell, IN. Ricky enjoyed riding his Harley, four wheeling and fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving daughter, Nissa Myers (Paul); son, Johnny Shuee (Iris) 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lenora Plummer and Sally Stanton and 3 brothers, Curt, Matt and Scott Shuee. A service to celebrate Mr. Shuee's life will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 15, 2012 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 West Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with family and friends celebrating. Military honors with a flag presentation and taps provided by the MacDill Air Force Base Honor Guard.
