Rich Flores, 33, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2018. Rick was a native Floridian who was born in Tampa on July 28, 1985 to parents Pearl Flores and Alejandro Silva / Francisco Vasquez Sr. Rick has been a resident of Lake Placid since the age of 5. Rick was a contractor in the agriculture industry, working with the local farmers and ranchers. Rick enjoyed being outdoors hunting hogs, fishing, cheering on his favorite football team the Florida Seminoles or hanging out with his family, friends and especially his daughters. Rick was of the Catholic faith and attended the St. James Catholic Church. He is survived by his two loving daughters; Ava Marie Flores, and Natalia Flores parents; Pearl Flores and Francisco Vasquez Sr., 5 sisters; Sylvia Vasquez, Francisca Lilliana Vasquez, Emily Vasquez, Juanita Ermelina Villafana, and Elizabeth Vasquez 5 brothers: Francisco Vasquez JR, Juan Vasquez, Roberto Vasquez, Martin Vasquez, and Jose Chavez and companion Naudia Hurlbutt. A funeral service to celebrate Rick's life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Father Victor Caviedes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
