Richard J. Deasy Jr., "Rick", 67 of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday morning, September 20, 2023 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. Rick was born on March 8, 1956 in Huntington, New York and was the son of Barbara and Richard Sr. Rick was a retired letter carrier with the United States Postal Service. A resident of Lake Placid for over thirty years, he moved here from New York. Rick was of the Catholic faith and attended the St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid and was a member of the Lake Placid Moose Lodge, and enjoyed a great round of golf. Rick loved to be with family and friends anytime they could get together. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Heidi, daughter; Leanne Deasy, sister; Linda Gustafson, brothers; Robert, Christopher, and John Deasy. In keeping with Rick's wishes services to celebrate his life will be private for the family.
