Richard L. Brown, 58, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Monday morning at Hope Hospice in Sebring. He was born on July 17, 1952 in Claremont, NH to parents Thomas and Barbara (McCusker) Brown. He served his country in the US Army during the VietNam conflict. Mr. Brown enjoyed volunteering at his church, Charlestown Bible Church in Charlestown, NH. He and his wife Loraine moved to Lake Placid from Lempster, NH in January of this year to be with his family. He especially loved spending time with his five grandchildren. Mr. Brown is also survived by his loving wife of 22 years Loraine, step-sons; Jeffrey and Douglas Bunnell, and a brother; Roger Brown. A service to celebrate Mr. Brown's life will be held 2 PM Saturday July 16, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Placid Lakes with Pastor Darrell George celebrating.
