Rhonda G. Hersberger. 48, of Lake Placid passed away Friday April 16, 2010 at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center. Born in Mooresville, IN on November 18, 1961 to parents Ronald and Sharon (Beard) Parks. She and her husband moved to the area nine years ago from IN where she was an Executive Chief for several five star restaurants. Rhonda always enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Lake Placid. She is preceded in death by her daughter Shannon Lee Wagner and father, Ronald and is survived by her loving husband of 19 years Jay; son Eric T. Hersberger; mother Sharon Parks-Hopps; sisters Raann Gadd (Ray) and Jeri Shannon Rush; brother Gary A. Parks (Jessica) and several nieces and nephews. A gathering for family and friends will be held this Saturday April 24, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at their home.
