Phillip Clark Canter, 58, of Sebring went to be with is Lord on Monday afternoon
September 16, 2013 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring. He was born
on November 28, 1954 in Brownsville, Texas to parents Loretta (Eyers) and Clifton
Howard Canter, Sr. He moved to Lake Placid as a child and graduated from the Lake
Placid Sr. High School class of 1973 and was a local rancher. He was a avid motorcycle
rider he enjoyed flying his RC airplanes at the Placid Lakes flying field. Phillip loved
spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Broken Glass in
Sebring, a brother of the Dunklin Memorial Camp in Okeechobee and the Cross Roads
Church in Sebring. Phillip is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughters, Carman, Katrina
and Stormi; 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; brother Chris Canter, Sr. and loyal friend
his dog Pig. A service to celebrate Phillip's life will be held 10:00 AM this Friday
September 20, 2013 at the Cross Roads Church, 605 State Route 66, Sebring with
Pastors Kenny LaGrow and Floyd Holland celebrating.
