Pauline R. Tenney, 89, of Lake Placid, went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, October 30, 2015. She was born on August 22, 1926 in Woonsocket, RI. and was the daughter of Alice (Santoro) and Gregory Spadea. Pauline moved to Lake Placid 25 years ago from Worcester, MA. Mrs. Tenney was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. She loved to be with her family and friends whenever she could. She was known by most as Nana. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and gardening around the house. Pauline was preceded in death by her loving sisters, Ann Bailey and Carmella Amato and is survived by her loving children, Bea Cooper and son in-law Robert M Cooper of Florida, Alice Daigle of Worcester, Robert J. Tenney of Florida, 7 grandchildren, Stephen and Alice O'Connor, Rhonda Daigle of Worcester, Javier and Kat Sierra of Florida, Shane Clarkson and Christopher Clarkson both of Florida, Russell G. Tenney and Rebecca Small, 7 great-grandchildren, Bailee Cox, Jacklyn Cox, Sarah O'Connor, Rylie Clarkson, Nevaeh and Leroy of TN, Madison Tenney of Florida, 3 sisters, Mary Brooks, Josephine Andrukonis and Rosemary Spadea and a brother James Spadea all of Worcester MA. A private service for the family to celebrate Pauline's life will be held at a later date.
