Paula M. Wagner, 75, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring.  Paula was the daughter of Eloise M. Blair and Phillip Haertjen.  She was born in Moline, Illinois on December 26, 1944.  Paula has been a resident of Lake Placid since 2004 moving here from Springfield, Ohio.  Paula was an active member of the St. James Catholic Church who could be seen on Sunday morning's singing in the choir.  Paula enjoyed singing and loved to be with family and friends anytime they could get together.  Paula is survived by her loving children; Theresa M. Black, Timothy M. Kroeger (Rebecca), six grandchildren, sister; Mary Elaine Haertjen, and brothers; Fred and Frank Haertjens.  A Funeral Mass to celebrate Paula's life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the St. James Catholic Church 3380 Placid View Drive Lake Placid with Father Vincent Clemente officiating.  Inurnment will follow, at the St. James Gardens.
