Paula Eileen Collier Berry, 80, of Lake Placid, Florida passed away on November 23, 2024 after a short illness. Paula was born on February 5, 1944 in New York to the late Paul and Lois Collier. She was raised in Pahokee, Florida and graduated from Pahokee High School in 1962. Paula went on to attend Palm Beach Junior College where she studied bookkeeping. She worked with several produce businesses in the Glades such as Cee-Bee Produce before moving to Lake Placid and spending her final years with the Scosta Corporation. On June 14,1964 she married the love of her life Ronnie Berry. They went on to have two children together, Brian and Rhonda. Paula was known for her strong work ethic and outstanding bookkeeping skills. In fact she enjoyed working so much she just recently retired her Ledger books. She was also somewhat of a jokester in her younger days and pulled off some fantastic pranks like the Mongoose getting loose (Cunningham family of Cee Bee) which was an awesome and scary prank when you think a real Mongoose is after you!; her magnificent laughter of "gotta ya" can still be heard to this very day! Paula took pride in her family and was an outstanding wife, daughter, loving and doting mother, grandmother, and mother in-law, The greatest sister, aunt, friend and employee that ALL of us were so blessed to have experienced! The loss of her very being will be sorely missed and felt by all that knew her! Paula was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Berry, parents Paul and Lois Collier, brothers Tommy and Charlie Collier, grandparents Paul and Golden Collier and aunt and uncle Don and Virginia Collier. Paula is survived by her son, Brian (Tina), daughter Rhonda (Frank), grandchildren, Wyatt, Jacob, Caitlin, and Chloe Berry, Anthony and Michael Caruso and great granddaughter Emri', sister Laura White and
sister in-law Teryl Collier, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held in honor and in celebration of Paula's life on December 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Scott Seawinds Funeral Home, 504 West Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, Florida 33852.
