Paul A. Lang, 89 of Lake Placid, Florida, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 2, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring, Florida. Paul was born on April 25, 1935 in Wilmington, Delaware. Paul was the son of Carrie (Baddorf) and William Leonhart Charles Lang. His family moved to Salisbury, Maryland where he went to school and graduated from Wicomico High School in 1955. He served his country with honors in both the Delaware and Maryland Army National Guard. Paul was a retired USDA meat inspector with many years of service. After retiring, Paul moved to Lake Placid, Florida from Salisbury, Maryland. Once here Paul became an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he was head usher for many years. He enjoyed playing shuffleboard and helping at the church and had a passion for cooking. He loved to be with family and friends whenever they could get together. He especially enjoyed time with the grand and great-grandchildren. Paul is survived by his loving wife (Wanda) of almost 70 years; daughters Paula Wright (Mark); Carrie Shehan (Bill) and son, Jeff Lang (Lisa), five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, a niece and nephew. He is predeceased by his brother William F. Lang and sister-in-law, Barbara Hardesty Lang. A service to celebrate Paul's life will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 25 Lakeview Street, Lake Placid, Florida with Rev. Richard A. Norris officiating. In memory of Paul contributions maybe made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
