Paul E. Dewees, 95 of Ravenswood, West Virginia and Lake Placid, Florida, Died Feb 15, 2021 of natural causes. He was born on June 17,1925, to Henrietta Maze Dewees and Orville Dewees in Munday, Wirt County, West Virginia. Paul attended school in Elizabeth, West Virginia and was drafted into the Coast Guard serving during World War II from 1944-1945. He was married to Edna Leota Dewees for 65 years and they had one child, Paula Jean. Paul worked as a carpenter at the Parkersburg Lumber Company, West Virginia and for 28 years as a supervisor at Kaiser Aluminum Ravenswood Works, West Virginia. He was a skilled carpenter, enjoyed rebuilding cars, and proudly raised many pet dogs. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood, West Virginia. Paul is survived by daughter, Paula Shuman (Brad) and grandson, David Shuman and granddaughter, Shelly Shuman and numerous nieces and nephews who he was very close with. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and wife, Edna, one sister and two brothers who died in infancy, and Elza, Alva and Alfred Dewees and William Glenn Maze.
