Patricia Lee Wood, 85, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Patricia was born on March 29, 1935 in Birmingham, Michigan to parents Helen (Thorton) and Ezra Ballard.  Patricia has been a winter resident since 2001 becoming a full time resident twelve years ago moving her from Michigan.  Patrician was of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed many things in life, playing a good game of domino's and attending the activities at Tropical Harbor.  She loved to be with family and friends any time they could get together, especially time with her grand and great grandchildren.  Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, James, daughters; Dawn, Nancy, Michelle, Susan, sons; Timothy, Tom, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a sister and a brother.  In keeping with Patricia's wishes, services to celebrate her life were private for the family.
