Patricia Arlene McConnell, 72, of Sebring entered God's rest on Thursday night June 2, 2016 at the Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center. Patricia, the daughter of Grace Bloom and Larry Kranis, was born on May 5, 1944 in Passaic, New Jersey. She was their only child, their pride and joy! Patricia grew up in New Jersey, and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in her early 20's. She was a long time resident of Ft. Lauderdale, moving to Sebring 15-years ago. Working as a cashier and free-lancer writer, Patricia set that aside to stay home and raise her daughter. Most of her life was spent as a homemaker. Patricia was an extrovert and she loved to laugh and dress fashionably. She enjoyed listening to music, going to movies, dinning out at the local restaurants, attending church, and being with her family and friends. Patricia was a long-time member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, William; daughter, Bonnie; son-in-law, Steve and a granddaughter, Jocelyn Grace. A service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd. Lake Placid, FL.
