Patricia Dianne Friske

Patricia Dianne Friske, 80, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on October 26, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. Patricia was born on November 10, 1944, in Topeka, Kansas and she was the daughter of Thelma (Thompson) and Leslie Mclaughin. She has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past 25 years, moving here from Michigan. She was of the Lutheran faith. Patricia worked for many years in retail sales as a sales manager and ran her own ceramics shop called Purple Pats, where she taught the skill of creating ceramic arts. Patricia enjoyed traveling both domestically and internationally. She loved to be with her family and friends when they could get together. Patricia is survived by her loving sons; Edward (Jami) Barber and Brian (Shalon) Mclaughlin, grandchildren; McKenna Hudson and Evan McLaughlin, brother Larry (Donna) McLaughlin and sister Shirley Stremme.
