Patricia J. Duby, 81, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Royal Care of Avon Park. Patricia was born on January 14, 1941 in Waverly, Nebraska and was the daughter of Eunice (Underwood) and Henry A, Rust. She has been a resident of Lake Placid since 2004 after moving from Spring, Texas.

Patricia was of the Baptist faith and active member of Placid Lakes Baptist Church where she was always willing to lend a helping hand, drive others to various Dr. Appointments and overall available for anyone's needs. Her faith was deep; she was a true servant of our Lord.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob of 40 years, and is survived by her four children, their spouses, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many, many friends and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to Placid Lakes Baptist Church or any charity of your choice. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, August 10th, 11 am at Placid Lakes Baptist Church.
