Patricia Jean Craig, 82, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord Wednesday morning April 14, 2010, at the Lake Placid Health Care Center. A native Miamian, she was born on June 30, 1927 to parents Beavlan (Weiss) and William E. Wood. She moved to Lake Placid in 1981 from Miami with her late husband Roy G. Craig. Mrs. Craig enjoyed china painting where she won several awards, sewing and her church the Community Church of God and the Lake Placid Historical Society. Mrs. Craig is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy, daughter, Janet Rebecca Nichol and son, Michael Lewis Craig sister, Flossie E. Bethel. She is survived by her loving daughter; Royann Fodor, nine grandchildren, Jason, Jessica Jaclyn and Jeri Nichol, Jennifer Bussey, Wayne Jinks, Allison Helms, Joey and Jacob Fodor, 14 great grandchildren, and a brother Jack Wood. A service celebrating Mrs. Craig's life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday April 17, 2010 at the Community Church of God, 735 S. Sun 'N Lake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Joseph DeHart celebrating.
