Nancy L. Harbaugh, 80, of Lake Placid, FL went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Orchid Cove at Lake Placid.  Nancy was born on October 25, 1940 in Boone County, Indiana and was the daughter of Dorothy (Phillips) and Howard Thompson. She has been a resident of Lake Placid since 2013, moving here from Indiana.  Nancy was a homemaker and worked on the family farm in Indiana.She attended the Faith Baptist Church in Lake Placid. Nancy enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening and growing her flowers around the house.She loved being  with her family and friends anytime they could get together, especially time with her grand and great-grandchildren. Nancy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years James, and she is survived by her loving children; Kathryn Cotton (Glen), Jason Harbaugh (Cinda), John Harbaugh, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, sister; April Quinous (Jose) and a brother; Mark Thompson (Jocarrol). A service and burial  to celebrate Nancy's life will be held back in Indiana where she will be laid to rest with her husband James.
