Michael Eugene Parker, 61, of Lake Placid passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. Michael was born on January 3, 1957 in Dallas, TX to parents Florence Jean Ross and Claude Eugene Parker. Michael retired from the heating and air conditioning industry in California. After retiring he moved to Lake Placid in 2015 from Silicon Valley, CA. He was a member of the Lake Placid Elks Lodge 2661 and was of the Christian faith. Michael enjoyed riding his motor cycle, seeing the country and fishing the local lakes. He loved to be with his family and friends when ever they could get together. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Katherine, sister; Susan, two brothers; Scott and John, and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Michaels wishes services will be private for the family.
