Michael Erwin Heselton, 75, of Lake Placid, FL went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Advent Health Lake Placid Hospital. Michael was born on March 22, 1950, at White River Junction, Vermont. He was the son of Dorothy (Kimball) and Neal Heselton. Michael has been a resident of Lake Placid since 2010 moving here from Stuart. He was an aluminum fabricator who worked for over 19 years with Gruman Aircraft manufacturing in Stuart then went to work installing aluminum hurricane shutters until his retirement. Michael was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed his dogs, tinkering around the house, working on his computer and fishing the local lakes and coastal waterways. He loved to be with his family and friends spending time with his grandchildren. Michael is survived by his loving daughters; Samantha Barricklow and Julie Blanchard, and his six grandchildren: Michelle Heselton, Jared Blanchard, Nicholas Barricklow, Sean Barricklow, Seth Barricklow and Eric Barricklow.
