Mary L. Rice, 91, of Lake Placid, went to be with her Lord on Saturday evening November 26, 2011 at the Lake Placid Health Care Center. She was born on September 22, 1920 in Todd County, KY to parents Ovas and Carrie (McBride) Case. She move to Lake Placid 45 years ago from Hopkinsville, KY and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Lake Placid. Mrs. Rice loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Rice, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother is survived by her children; Doyle (Cindy) and Mitchell (Pamela) Rice and Wanda (Boe) Rhymes and Michelle Rice along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband and son Buford Larry Rice. A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Rice life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday November 30 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bill Cole celebrating.
