Mary M. Pitts, 72, of Sebring went to be with her Lord on Monday morning February 17, 2014 at the
Highlands Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 22, 1941 in Pahokee, FL to parents Doris (Murdock) and Eugene McIlwain. Mary moved to Sebring form Pahokee 14 years ago. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Pitts was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Pitts is preceded in death by her loving son, Jeffrey Pitts and she is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Sheppard,; son Gregory Pitts (Traci)grandchildren, Ryan and Jessey. A graveside service to celebrate Mary's life will be held 11:30 AM Thursday February 20, 2014 at the Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Tim Haas officiating.
