Mary G. Leech, 94, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning October 4, 2016 at the Balmoral Assisted Living in Lake Placid. A native Miamian, Mrs. Leech was born on July 5, 1922 to parents Bertha and Morgan Gilbert. Mrs. Leech was a retired head cashier with the stock exchange. Mrs. Leech has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1992 moving here from Franklin, NC. Mrs. Leech enjoyed ceramics, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Leech is preceded in death by her loving husband Walter B. Leech and she is survived by her son Howard Leech (Jenna) and grandson Walter Leech. Mary was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. Mrs. Leech will be laid to rest along side her family at the City of Miami Cemetery 11:30 AM Tuesday (today), October 11, 2016.
