Mary Louise Hoyle, 72, of Union Mills, NC, and formerly of Lake Placid, FL, went to be with her Lord on Thursday January 8, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 19, 1942 in Norfolk, VA and was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth Roach Magendanz. Mrs. Hoyle moved to Lake Placid in 1992 from Sunrise, FL and was a retired personnel manager for a retirement community. While in Lake Placid, Mrs. Hoyle was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. After her retirement, Mrs. Hoyle moved to Union Mills.

Mrs. Hoyle is preceded in death by her first husband John Komasa. She is survived by her husband, David C Hoyle of Union Mills; daughter, Patricia Groff of Lake Placid; son, John Komasa of Lake Placid; stepdaughter, Catherine Barnette of Greensboro, NC; stepson, Dr. Robert T. Hoyle of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Jessica Groff, Mary Groff, Rebecca Komasa, Robert Komasa, John Komasa, Jacob Barnette and Robert Barnette; great granddaughter, Lynsey Duncan; sister Claudine Martone of Inverness, FL; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Hoyle's life will be held 12:15 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid with Father Michael Cannon officiating.
