Mary L. Green, 86, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Friday morning December 17, 2010 at the Florida Hospital Lake Placid. She was born on June 25, 1924 in Ames, Iowa to parents George C, and Loras (Gibbs) Decker. Mrs. Green was a retired reservationist with Eastern Airlines in Miami. She and her husband moved to Lake Placid in 1993 from Miami and she was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Green is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Joseph, daughter; Julanne Green, sons; Michael, Joseph, Jr., and Terry, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters; Loretta Hansen, Dorothy Harkness and Francis Tomlinson. The family will receive friends Sunday December 19, 2010 from 2-4 PM at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid. A Mass of the Christian Burial will take place 11:00 AM Monday morning December 20, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church 3880 Placid View Drive, Lake Placid.
