Martin T. Ibanez, 87, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Monday evening November 21, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring surrounded by his loving family. Martin was the son of Luisa Iriarte and Silvano Ibanez who was born in Argentina on June 19, 1929. Martin moved to Lake Placid from Panama 36 years ago. He was the owner of a wholesale plant nursery where he loved to work. Martin enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing and bar-b-que. He loved being with his family and friends enjoying those special family times with each other. Martin is preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his 15 children; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Martin's life will be held at 3:00 PM (Today), Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Todd Paterson officiating
